Admissions childcare places in Cambridge
There are three main entry points into the nursery school.
The Nido, from age 6 months to 2; the Infant Community, age 2 to 3 years; and the Children’s House, from age 3.
Places become available throughout the year, therefore it is always worth contacting us at admissions@smithschildren.co.uk to check the current availability of places.
We would expect you to visit the nursery before applying for a place. However we understand that this is not always possible when applying from a distance. We offer parents tours of the nursery each week during the year so that you can get a feel for the school on a normal working day.
Personal Tours:
Monday to Friday
Morning, AM - 10.15, 10.30 and 10.45
Afternoon, PM - 2.15 and 2.30

To ensure the safety of children and staff we only arrange tours by appointment only. This also enables us to plan our staffing so that we can focus on the children in attendance.
Virtual Tours
Join us for a brief presentation explaining our Montessori method, followed by a virtual tour of the nursery.

Our virtual tours take place using the zoom app. You will need to register and download the app to join our tours. A tour invitation will be sent to you once you have registered for a visit.

Please sign and date the registration form prior to submission. We will contact you soon after receiving your registration form in order to complete the registration process.
A registration fee of £60.00 per child should be paid to the nursery on submission of the completed registration form and that fee shall not be returnable if such acceptance is later withdrawn by the parent/guardian.
