Admissions

There are three main entry points to the nursery school; the Nido, from age 6 months to age 2; the Infant Community, age 2 to 3 years; and the Children’s House, from age 3.

Places often become available during the year, therefore it is always worth contacting our admissions department to check the current situation.

We would expect you to visit the nursery before applying for a place. We hold tours each week during the year so that you can get a feel for the school on a normal working day. We also hold open mornings in both the Autumn and Summer terms.

Covid-19 Guidance for Families and Early Years Settings - The government guidance explains the 'test and trace' procedure that the nursery will follow and what will happen if a child, parent or member of staff tests positive. We have adopted government guidance throughout our daily practice to ensure that risk to children, their families and staff are kept to a minimum. We will explain the practices with parents and children during the admissions process and continue to reinforce the importance of good hygiene practices with children once they have started.

Some of our admissions procedures have changed ever so slightly as a result of the measures we have put into place to reduce the risk to families and staff enrolled at the setting; therefore we are only able to book tours of the nursery between 7.30 am and 8.00 am and from 6.00 pm, Monday to Friday. If you are unable to attend at the stated times then we may be able to organise an alternative time with you.
